What's happening down on the farm?
Hayrides and Pumpkin Picking Every Weekend in October! Bring the whole family for an old-fashioned tour of the farm and a hunt through a real pumpkin patch for your perfect jack-o-lantern. Visit with pigs and chickens and enjoy the best of the fall colors.
Open Satudays and Sundays 10am-6pm.
We are open Columbus Day, too. Group trips are welcome during the week by appointment.
CSA pick up starts next week!
CSA pick up starts next week! We can’t wait! The harvest starts slowly and then picks up in July, so get out your green market cookbooks and get ready to try some new things.
We are still waiting to see if there is enough interest in our Add-On share – if not enough people sign up for it then it will not be worth it to the other farmers to haul their things over here and we will have to cancel it - which we really don't want to do. So, if you want to sign up for one or several, please do so ASAP – the last day to sign up is Sunday, June 8th and after that I will see if we cam make it work. You can sign up for a multiple share for your neighbors or colleagues, too, remember.

The Hickories is happy to announce…
• The Stand on Lounsbury Road opens this Friday, June 6th.
It has been a long and exciting winter of preparation, and we are finally ready once again...
As it is the start of the season we will have limited hours – weekends for the first few weeks – Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11-7. Directions can be found on our website: www.thehickories.org. Come taste the first pickings of this year’s harvest:
fresh strawberries
spinach
rhubarb
pac choi
spring lettuce
spinach
arugula
radishes
maple syrup and honey
Summer is almost here and as the crops starts to trickle in there is a limited supply so come early if you can.
