Earth Day at the Farm
Per your request for ideas Dina,
I think it would be great to host an open house and showcase all that you are doing. Inviting the local elenentary school - just blocks away would be fun too!! Perhaps they could plant potatoes? Easy and low tech? Or would that be too early? So many great things could be done........I know it is difficult to find the time/energy.....

Girl Scouts are Coming
Thanks, Robin. I did just as you suggested and we have a troop of kids coming to work in the apple orchard this Earth Day! As as for an open house, we are going to be on this year's NOFA Farm Tour June22nd to share our work with other interested farmers and gardeners.
