We are running low on clean shavings. When would be a good time to stop by the farm for a new supply?

Sure. If we are around we can provide you some of what we use. You can also just stop in at any pet store or Young's Garden Center in town and get a bag of it (about $4) that will last you a long while. Wood shavings are better than cedar shavings for chickens, by the way.

I went to Youngs today--they had a huge thing of wood shavings for $8.....could last us the duration of our time with the little ladies.
