Oh definitely. A little food on the floor will give them something to peck around after. You may sometimes see them rubbing their beaks on the floor, too: a "sharpening" technique of sorts. The peck instinct is strong in these little ones already so be sure to be careful of bringing the birds right up to your face and eyes for example. If they peck at fingers it won't be out of aggression, but out of curiosity - they explore the world with their mouths - like puppies.
