Size of box

Can you please provide the ideal dimensions of the box? I'm having a hard time reading the prior posting regarding the size of the box. For some reason, on the website, the "main menu" page on the left is hanging over and blocking some of the message board . It would be helpful if you would post the ideal dimensions of the box. thank you!

Also, I hope this is not a stupid question, but if we keep the heat lamp on all the time to maintain 80 degrees, are the chicks able to sleep with that constant exposure to light?

Box size

A starter box for three chicks could be 24" x 10" x 10". Once they grow bigger and want to run around more you will have to change out for a bigger box.

just to confirm, the box should be 24" HIGH by 10" wide and 10" deep?? Or 24" wide?

nothing is written in stone but lets leave it at
24" wide
10" long
10" tall

or thereabouts. bigger is okay; smaller they will just grow out of more quickly.
