This is just too cute! The chicks have adapted nicely to their new home and appear to be doing well. We have one question though: Exactly how old are they? We forgot to ask yesterday!

April Fool's Babies
They were born and shipped on April 1st. That makes them one week old today! Well done. And just fyi these little chicks were shipped the day they were born priority mail. They seem for too fragile for a trip from PA at only hours old, but they all made it - little birdies are tougher than they appear, perhaps.

No Wonder
Oh! That explains it. Their tender youth -- these newbies -- I really feel like they've induced me into lactating again! Lady Gaga, the tiniest of our trio (who does bust quite a spry chicken dance), really strums my baby lust chords. Fortunately, the sane place in me does know they are NOT mammals, so even if I could nurse them... ahem, not that I'd ever try.
