Directions to The Hickories

The Hickories is located at 126 Lounsbury Road in Ridgefield, Connecticut

From I-84 (i.e. North): Take the Route 7 Exit off I-84 in Danbury. Proceed 6.6 miles South on Route 7 to the fourth traffic light and turn right on Cain's Hill Road. Go half a mile up Cain's Hill Road to the top of the hill and turn left on Lounsbury Road. The farm is 0.3 miles on the left with a red silo.

From Norwalk and points South-East: From I-95 or the Merritt Parkway take Route 7 North 14 miles through Wilton and Branchville to the traffic light at Cain's Hill Road on the left. Note in Wilton you will need to turn right to stay on Route 7. After you pass through Branchville, go ~2.5 Miles and turn left on Cain's Hill Road. Go half a mile to the top of the hill and then turn left on Lounsbury Road. The farm is 0.3 miles on the left with a red silo.

From Westport and points North-East: Take the Merritt Parkway, Connecticut Route 15, from New Haven to Exit 42 in Westport. Go left at the foot of the ramp onto Route 57 North. Take Route 57 for 8 miles to Route 7 and turn right on Route 7 North. Go 2.5 miles to the third traffic light at Cain's Hill Road and turn left on Cain's Hill Road. Go half a mile up Cain's Hill Road to the top of the hill and turn left on Lounsbury Road. The farm is 0.3 miles on the left with a red silo.

From Westchester and points West: At the intersection of the Saw Mill Parkway and I-684 in Katonah, take Route 35 East toward Cross River and South Salem. Go 11.2 miles, to the T intersection in Ridgefield. Go Left to stay on Route 35, and go 1.8 miles through town, bearing right. At the Shell Gas Station, turn right on Farmingville Road. Go 1.6 miles and turn right on Lounsbury road. The farm is 0.3 miles on the left with a red silo.

From New York City: Take either the Hutchinson Parkway or the Saw Mill Parkway out of the City. From the Hutchinson, connect to the Merritt and follow the directions from Norwalk above. From the Saw Mill, follow the directions from Westchester above. It will take you roughly 90 minutes from Northern Manhattan.

Parking: Please park on the farm driveway, but be aware it is an active working drive. For the stand and a quick stop at the farm, park on the side of Lounsbury Road. For a longer visit, or for pumpkin picking, drive another 0.2 miles down the road to the "7 acre field", and park in the area outside the fence.
