The Hickories CSA Share 2012

Our CSA Share. By purchasing this share, you are agreeing to our CSA-member's agreement below.

I commit to membership in The Hickories CSA for the harvest season. I commit to pick up my weekly share. I understand that if I do not pick up my share, it will be sold or donated and I can not pick it up outside the scheduled window of assigned time.

One aspect of CSA is that I will share in the inherent risks of agriculture (poor weather, drought, disease, frost, and so on) and in the rewards (bumper crops, new flavors) of a local harvest. There is no refunding of my investment other than through vegetables I pick up.

By checking "I agree!" below, I am confirming that I understand this principle and agree that there is no guarantee on the exact amount or type of produce I will receive in my share. By participating in the CSA, I am supporting local farmers as well as more environmentally sustainable food production and distribution.
